TRI-HQ (TRI-FP) - TRI pilots reported for duty in droves around 17:00 Ekoos Time on 110.7.16 in response to "Regan's Challenge" - an attempt by pilot Regan to turn around the recent epidemic of pilot apathy and to help ensure TRI space remains safe and vital. Flight deck personnel and servos at all stations were frantically busy, taking ship after ship out of mothballs and prepping them for launch into space - many for the first time in years.
TRI dispatched one of its rarely-seen Enforcer ships for an impromptu tournament, and the Order of Fenris was awarded to pilots ElMariachi, Moody, prgr and Regan for managing to down the TRI Enforcer in simulator mode.
"I can't tell you how great it was to see a radar that I had not seen in years." said pilot 2L8 in response to the number of 'blips' filling his radar screen.
"It was great to see so many people come out, and next time there should be a centralized activity for everyone to participate in," added pilot DLinkOZ.
Pilot Regan was awarded the Echoes of Hope ribbon for her most excellent efforts in pulling together this extraordinary event.
